INDIANAPOLIS -- A man driving with a blood alcohol level more than twice the legal limit crashed into a parked IMPD cruiser, according to police.
The crash occurred around 3:30 a.m. Saturday in the 600 block of North Rural Street, near St. Philip Neri Catholic Church.
According to the incident report, 30-year-old Francisco Gonzalez was driving a blue 2002 Dodge when he went left of the center line and crashed into a parked, fully marked IMPD vehicle.
Gonzalez blew a 0.185 BAC on a portable breathalyzer, according to police.
Police obtained a search warrant for a blood draw on Gonzalez, who was booked into the Marion County Jail on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, operating a vehicle without ever having received a license and OWI endangering a person.
No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
