BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- A former Indiana University employee was arrested Tuesday on charges dealing marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms and prescription drugs.

Indiana University police executed a search warrant around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday on an apartment on Bloomington's west side.

The search warrant stemmed from an investigation that began in mid-October into the alleged dealing of marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms (also known as "magic mushrooms") and the prescription drugs Vyvanse and Xanax.

During the investigation, undercover officers reportedly made multiple purchases of illegal substances from Dylan G. Maulden, 22, who they said is a former employee of the university.

While searching Maulden's apartment, investigators reportedly found 369 grams of marijuana, 17 Xanax tablets, 2 grams of cocaine, 2.1 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 153 grams of THC edibles and 27 grams of spice, along with several Vyvanse tablets and various drug paraphernalia.

As a result of the investigation, Maulden was arrested on preliminary charges of dealing controlled substances, possession of cocaine, dealing marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance. In all, he faces nine felony counts and 10 misdemeanor counts.
