Four people wounded in Indy, IMPD believe shootings related

INDIANAPOLIS – Four people were shot in Indianapolis Thursday night, and police believe many of the shootings may be connected.

A person was shot in the arm in the 5200 block of Alameda Road and is stable, according to police.

Officers also said two people critically shot admitted themselves to Eskenazi Hospital shortly after. Police aren’t sure where the two were shot but believe they were wounded at the Alameda Road scene.

Around the same time, police said another person was shot on the northwest in the 2600 block of Burton Avenue on the northwest side. That person was critically wounded, said IMPD. They were taken to Eskenazi Hospital by friends or relatives.
