INDIANAPOLIS -- A man was shot and killed Monday afternoon on Indianapolis' east side.
Homicide detectives with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called to the 2800 block of Brookside Avenue shortly before 3 p.m.
Officers found Jimmy McKinley, 39, inside the home.
The Marion County Coroner says McKinley died from multiple gunshot wounds.
Officers say they found no obvious signs of forced entry at the home. The investigation is ongoing.
