SULLIVAN COUNTY — An Indianapolis couple was arrested in connection with a homicide investigation in Sullivan County on Wednesday.
Danny Wilson Jr., 40, was arrested and charged with Murder, and Renee S. Huffine, 40, was arrested and charged with Conspiracy to Commit Murder and Aiding, inducing, or causing an offense of Murder.
The victim's body was recovered during a police search on Tuesday at an eastern Sullivan County residence, according to Sullivan County Sheriff, Clark Cottom.
Officials confirmed the victim had been murdered following an autopsy on Wednesday morning.
Sheriff Cottom said investigators reviewed the case late Wednesday afternoon with Sullivan County Prosecutor, Ann Mischler, when police thereafter pursued the arrest of Wilson and Huffine.
As of Wednesday evening, the couple was being held in the Sullivan County Jail with no bond.
The name of the victim will not be released at this time.
This case is an active investigation.
