INDIANAPOLIS – Two men were arrested Friday following a SWAT situation on Indianapolis' northwest side.
A person inside a home in the 4000 block of Gamay Lane called 911 to report a robbery shortly after noon.
Police could see a suspect inside the home when they arrived on the scene.
Officers were able to get the victims to safety. They were treated and released at the scene.
Police called SWAT when officers saw an armed man in the home and backed out.
Negotiators tried several times to communicate with the suspects, but they did not respond.
The SWAT team went in and took Omar Greggs, 46, and Richard Joyner, 44, into custody.
Police say they are both preliminarily charged with robbery, kidnapping, and criminal confinement.
