Kokomo homeowners concerned about flooding, storm water damage

Posted

KOKOMO, Ind. – With more than seven inches of rainfall this week, homeowners have been dealing with flooded basements and crawl spaces for days.

Dietz Worland of Kokomo has been trying to keep water out of his basement, but storm and sewer water continues to creep into his home.

“I’ve got a sump pump, but it can’t keep up with the water that’s coming up through the city sewer drains…to have to leave work to have to come home and deal with this, it’s pretty frustrating stuff when tax dollars should pay to get rid of storm water,” he said.
