INDIANAPOLIS -- A man arrested Friday evening is accused of attacking a security guard with a box cutter because he wouldn't let him into a club on Indianapolis' northeast side.
Police were called to Ebony and Ivory Nightclub on E. 38th Street just after 11 p.m. for a report of a person stabbed.
According to police, Michael Robertson, 36, attacked the security guard after he was denied entrance into the club. The security guard told police that there was a private party at the time.
The guard sustained several cuts to his head and was taken to the hospital to be treated. A second security guard was also cut during the attack.
Robertson is charged with aggravated battery.
The attack remains under investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
