IMPD: Man had 160 grams of cocaine, other narcotics in his possession

INDIANAPOLIS – A man was arrested after Indianapolis police found 160 grams of cocaine along with other narcotics in an apartment on the city’s west side Thursday morning.

Just before 9 a.m., police obtained a search warrant for a unit within Pangea Fields Apartments in the 3000 block of Lincoln Road.

During the search, police arrested Justin Taylor, 34, of Indianapolis after they discovered 160 grams of cocaine, 180 grams of spice, 10 grams of heroin, 3 grams of marijuana and $4,630 in cash in the apartment.

Police said Taylor was a parolee who was found to be in violation of his parole after he allegedly had possession of narcotics.

Taylor was arrested and preliminarily charged with dealing narcotics, dealing marijuana, possession of narcotics, possession of marijuana, and maintaining a common nuisance.

He was transported to the Arrestee Processing Center for booking.
