INDIANAPOLIS -- A man was awakened early Sunday morning by the sound of a bullet crashing through a window into his north side apartment.
The shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. Sunday at the Bauer Apartments near 38th and Meridian streets.
The 32-year-old man told police he was awakened by a loud noise and then found a bullet had entered a west-facing window of his apartment.
The bullet was found lodged in a picture hanging on the east wall of the apartment.
The man wasn't injured in the shooting.
