INDIANAPOLIS -- A was shot and killed Thursday on Indianapolis' northeast side.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 8100 block of E. 37th Place just after 2:15 p.m. on a report of shots fired.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found a man in the driver's seat of a car with an apparent gunshot wound.
EMS personnel pronounced him dead at the scene. The man's name will be released once his family is notified.
Homicide detectives are investigating. There's no word on a motive or suspects at this time.
