INDIANAPOLIS – A man died following a shooting on the city’s west side Wednesday morning.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department homicide detectives arrived in the 6600 block of Hollow Run Drive around noon when they found a 31-year-old unresponsive male in the driver’s seat of a vehicle.
Officers said he was suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives said around 8 a.m. that morning, several neighbors reported gunshots and saw a man hop a fence before running toward an adjoining home. They did not provide a physical description.
The name of the victim was not released by police.
