KOKOMO, Ind. -- The man Kokomo police believe was involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a woman early Sunday morning turned himself in Tuesday.
Maurice Shelley turned himself into a police station on Indianapolis' north side.
Police said Sunday's incident happened just after 5 a.m. outside Front Row Live on South Plate Street.
Witnesses told police that there was an argument between Shelley, who was driving a red, van and a group of people.
Shelley allegedly got into his van and drove toward the group, hitting a car and pushing it into Alisa Burnett, 42. She was taken to Howard Regional Hospital where she later died.
