MUNCIE, Ind. – The Freedom Bus, a vehicle built to educate students on the civil rights era, was found vandalized Friday morning.
Those with the Martin Luther King Dream Team said the damaged happened within the last two weeks but was discovered as team members were preparing the bus for visitors.
The damage was described as “relatively minor” and occurred on the interior of the bus.
“However, it does show us that we still have work to do in our community. We will not be stopped, we will not be silenced,” was written on the MLK Dream Team Facebook page.
