ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- A mother accused of killing her two children pleaded guilty Thursday morning to the crimes Thursday morning, according to ABC57 in South Bend.
Amber Pasztor had a competency hearing scheduled for June 12, but will instead be sentenced June 29.
An Amber Alert was issued in September 2016 for Pasztor's two children, Liliana Hernandez, 7, and Rene Pasztor, 6, when they went missing. Pasztor was stopped by police a few hours later. She told police she had two dead people in the vehicle with her.

The Elkhart County coroner says the two died from asphyxiation.
Former Elkhart County Prosecutor said at the time the prosecutor's office will seek life without parole.
