One person shot, killed on Indy's northeast side

INDIANAPOLIS -- One person was shot and killed on the city's northeast side Tuesday afternoon. 

Officers were called to 4000 block of Windhill Drive at the Post Brook Apartment Complex around 6 p.m.

Police say they victim, a 22-year-old man, was found unresponsive in apartment's hall entryway. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released.

A person of interest has been identified. Police have not said whether that person will face any charges in the shooting. 

The shooting remains under investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
