INDIANAPOLIS -- Police are searching for a suspect after they say he attempted to rob a security guard on the city's northeast side.
Police say the security guard fired on the suspect. They are unsure if he was hit by the bullet.
It happened just north of East 38th Street and east of Fall Creek.
Police and K-9 searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. They say he is armed.
