INDIANAPOLIS -- A person was rushed to the hospital after being shot Thursday afternoon on the city's northeast side.
Police were called to the area of East 38th Street and Adams for a report of a shooting. When they arrived they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach. That person was rushed to the hospital, their condition is unknown at this time.
Police have not said whether they have any suspects in the shooting at this time.
The shooting remains under investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
