INDIANAPOLIS -- A Pennsylvania man was sentenced to nearly 20 years in federal prison this week for traveling to Zionsville, Indiana, to have sex with a 14-year-old girl.

Sean A. Donnelly, 22, was arrested in July 2015 by Zionsville police after he was discovered with his 14-year-old victim in a local park.

According to court documents, Donnelly and the girl met in an online chat room in February 2015. Their relationship eventually became sexual in nature. He traveled to Zionsville on July 2, 2015, from Pennsylvania to have sex with the girl, and returned again a week later – when he was caught by police.

Donnelly eventually pleaded guilty to enticing a minor to engage in illegal sexual activity and possession of child pornography.

He was sentenced to 19.5 years in prison by U.S. District Judge Tanya Walton Pratt.

Following his release, Donnelly will be required to serve 20 years of supervised release and pay a $5,000 fine.
