Victim identified in Thursday homicide on Indy's north side

INDIANAPOLIS - The victim of a homicide on Indianapolis' north side on Thursday night has been identified.

Police were called to the scene in the 3200 block of Winthrop Avenue just after 9 p.m. on a report of a person shot.

The victim died at the scene. He's been identified as Marcus Washington, 26.

Police say they do not have any reliable suspect information to release at this time.
