Man shot, killed on Indianapolis' northeast side

INDIANAPOLIS -- A man was shot and killed Tuesday night Indianapolis' northeast side.

Police responded to the 6000 block of E. 34th Street shortly after 5 p.m. on a report of shots fired.

They found a man in a parking lot who had been shot several times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No word if police have anyone in custody or if they have a motive for the shooting.
