AVON, Ind. -- Drug task force officers arrested a 26-year-old Avon man Wednesday on charges of dealing heroin around Hendricks County and Central Indiana.

Breyon Greer, 26, was arrested on multiple counts of dealing narcotics following an investigation by the Hendricks County United Drug Task Force.

Police said undercover officers purchased alleged narcotics from Greer at a number of locations around Avon. During some of those purchases, Greer was in the presence of three small children, ranging in age from 7 months old to 7 years old.

As part of the investigation, police also arrested 27-year-old Brittany Hart, of Avon, who they described as Greer's accomplice.

Following the arrests, SWAT officers located the three children unattended at a home in the 8200 block of Cardinal Court in Avon.

Detectives also recovered a large amount of narcotics, cash and multiple firearms from the residence.

The three children were placed in protective custody by the Division of Family and Children.

Greer and Hart were taken into custody Wednesday at the Hendricks County Jail.
