INDIANAPOLIS – The driver of a semi-truck was shot at by the driver of a passing vehicle Tuesday morning while on I-70 near Rural Street.
The semi driver said the car then exited the interstate onto East Street and fled the area.
Police said at least one bullet struck the semi, which broke the driver’s side window and lodged into the headliner of another truck.
The driver of the semi was not injured.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as an older model tan Oldsmobile Aurora with a temporary license plate on the right side of the back window.
