Two juveniles arrested for alleged assault on Monon Trail

INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapoliis police arrested two juvenile suspects Monday over an alleged assault on the Monon Trail.

Police were called to the area of 54th and Monon shortly before 7:00 p.m. Monday on a report of a possible assault.

They arrived to find a group of women reporting they had been touched inappropriately by several juvenile males.

Police detained three juvenile males for questioning, and ultimately took two into custody.

An IMPD spokesman said none of the female victims required medical treatment.

The suspects' identities weren't released due to being juveniles.
