INDIANAPOLIS – A chase across Indianapolis Friday afternoon ended in a crash on the city's southwest side.

Police said two women stole a car near 10th Street and Indiana Avenue, and the owner tried to stop them.

The car then hit an officer's vehicle near Bradbury Avenue and Bradbury Access

Police say the officer is expected to be okay.  The women had minor injuries.

One person was also bitten by a police K9 when he came outside to see what was happening.

There were warrants out for the two women in the stolen vehicle, according to officers. Police say they also found counterfeit money in the car.

They have not released the names of the women.
