Posted

It may be cooling down temperature-wise, but there are still plenty of events to get out and enjoy this weekend.

Here's a list of six great options:

CANvitational

When: September 12

Where: Pan Am Plaza and on the 100 block of Georgia Street in downtown Indianapolis

The 3rd annual Sun King CANvitational brings together craft breweries from around the country who can. There will be live music, local food trucks and of course, craft beer samples. During its inaugural year, Sun King welcomed 31 breweries to the event. This year 45 breweries will take part. The brewery also expects a jump in attendance. Last year about 2,000 people showed up and Sun King is expecting 4,000 this year.

The event is for anyone 21 and older. General admission tickets are $50 through the end of Friday and jump to $60 on Saturday. Those tickets will get you in from 1-5 p.m. The early entry tickets get you in at noon and are $75. If you're the designated driver for the day and are not planning on sampling any beer, you can get a ticket for $10.
