INDIANAPOLIS — The Marion County Election Board voted Friday to approve a resolution making Lucas Oil Stadium the seventh early voting site in the county.

There will be 56 voting machines inside the stadium, more than any other site in Marion County. Voting will be available at the stadium from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The addition of Lucas Oil Stadium will provide relief to voters who have endured long lines at the City-County Building and satellite sites at Krannert Park Community Center, Lawrence Township Education and Community Center, Perry Township Government Center, St. Luke's United Methodist Church and Warren Township Government Center.

Lucas Oil Stadium's south parking lot will be open with 1,200 parking spaces available, including 49 handicap spaces.
