Golden Retriever puppy gets braces

SPRING LAKE, Mich. -- No one has ever looked this cute in braces.

A Golden Retriever named Wesley needed his teeth realigned because he couldn't close his mouth completely.

Luckily, Wesley has a doggie dentist in the family. Owner Molly Moore works at Harborfront Hospital for Animals in Spring Lake, Michigan, and her father specializes in canine orthodontia.

Dr. Moore was able to put braces on Wesley, which miraculously made the already-adorable pup even more precious!

Dr. Moore pointed out that putting braces on Wesley was not for cosmetic purposes, but because of health concerns.

"We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of care and interest from around the nation in our buddy 'Wesley,'" Harborfront said in a post on Facebook.

"He is happily enjoying some of the benefits of his celebrity (although he already had ample hugs, kisses and belly rubs)," the animal hospital said. (See proof below!)

Oh, the weather outside is frightful. So, if you are Dr. Moore's Grand pup, Wesley, you do this .....(Please be sure all YOUR pets are just as safe and comfy today:)

"Most importantly, he is eating well, playing, and feeling wonderful," Harborfront posted. "It obviously doesn't bother him one little bit (if you look at the "after" photo). He's a happy little guy."
