DECATUR TOWNSHIP, Ind. – Firefighters in Decatur Township paid a special visit to a child in need of a new wheelchair ramp Saturday afternoon.
The firefighters picked up and installed a wheelchair ramp for 5-year-old Elijah Davis who has cerebral palsy.
The ramp was donated by the family of retired Indianapolis Fire Chief Brian Sanford who passed away in March due to ALS.
Sanford used the ramp during his illness, according to family.
