INDIANAPOLIS — Amazon will hire more than 5,400 seasonal employees in Indiana ahead of the holiday season, the company announced Tuesday.
Seasonal jobs will include full- and part-time positions with pay beginning at $15 an hour, according to a news release.
Full-time Amazon employees receive health, dental and vision care benefits, along with 401(k) with 50% company match.
In Indiana, Amazon operates facilities in Indianapolis, Greenwood, Plainfield, Whitestown, Evansville, Fort Wayne, Gary, Jeffersonville and South Bend. A new fulfillment center in Greenfield is currently under construction.
