INDIANAPOLIS—Its official name is "Nurse Networking Informational Event." More simply, you can call it a "nursing job fair."
Eskenazi Health is inviting current RN's and nursing school graduates to the Cafe Soleil restaurant at Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis on August 8, from 5 to 7 p.m. There's free parking in the Eskenazi parking garage.
Nurses with experience in primary and specialty care, case management, critical care, behavioral health, operating room, cath lab and burn will learn about current job opportunities. Bilingual nurses are also needed. Eskenazi Health employs about 1,100 nurses.
Lee Ann Blue, the executive vice president for patient care services and chief nursing office at Eskenazi Health will deliver opening remarks at 5:15 p.m. After that, there will be a chance to mingle and network with Eskenazi nursing leaders.
"Our Nurse Networking Informational Event on August 8 will provide the perfect opportunity for nurses to learn more about Eskenazi Health." said Blue. "While interacting with our patients, nurses at Eskenazi Health have the advantage of working with the latest equipment in our state-of-the-art facilities."
Eskenazi nurses work in the various departments of the main hospital, along with 10 community health centers and the Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center.
Eskenazi holds several nurse networking events each year. "These events provide nurses with the opportunity to experience and see firsthand the many advantages and benefits Eskenazi Health provides to everyone in our talented and dedicated nursing team," said Christia Hicks, vice president of Human Resources at Eskenazi.
