INDIANAPOLIS—It's hiring season at JCPenney.

The department store chain is looking for as many as 100 temporary "seasonal associates" at its stores in the Indianapolis area.

In a press release issued by the company, JCPenney says it is gearing up for the back-to-school season and will be hiring for a variety of store positions.

Cashiers, stockers, beauty consultants and experienced stylists are needed.

Seasonal associates receive a 25-percent discount on purchases, as well as flexible holiday scheduling, according to the company. And seasonal employees could be hired as permanent associates, as needed on a store-by-store basis.

To apply, visit the Applicant Kiosk at JCPenney stores, or apply online by visiting: https://jobs.jcp.com. Search for "seasonal" jobs in the Indianapolis market.
