Indy Parks is hiring for the summer

INDIANAPOLIS — Indy Parks is holding two weekend hiring fairs as it looks for people to fill more than 400 summer positions.

The parks department is seeking lifeguards, day camp counselors, pool managers, cashiers and more.

The starting pay is $8-$15 per-hour and free training is available for lifeguards.

This Saturday, March 16, hiring fairs will take place at Frederick Douglass and Riverside parks.

Both events are from noon to 2 p.m.
