Job skills training offered to Marion County residents affected by pandemic

INDIANAPOLIS — Free job skills training is available to Marion County residents who have been negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Through Nov. 15, people can enroll online to participate in the program offered by Washington Township Adult Education with funding through the CARES Act.

Classes are online and in-person and include dental assisting, certified clinical medical assistant, pharmacy tech, construction, appliance repair, electrical wiring, IT security specialist, IT network tech, welding, commercial driver’s license, along others.
