LOUISVILLE, KY — Papa John's announced a new partnership with Purdue University Global that provides a tuition benefit program for 20,000 of Papa John's corporate employees, on Wednesday.

The tuition reimbursement program will cover all tuition costs of undergraduate and graduate online degree programs.

Papa John's team members can enroll in any of Purdue Global's online associate, bachelor's and master's degree programs, which includes business, information technology, cyber security, accounting and finance.

“We want to be an employer of choice in the marketplace,” Papa John’s Chief People Officer, Marvin Boakye, said. “This new tuition benefit program not only provides our team members with a tremendous career growth opportunity, but it gives us a competitive advantage in the marketplace that will make us better as an organization.”

The alliance will also provide an education program to 70,000 of Papa John's franchise team members. This program will offer tuition and fee reductions for both undergraduate and graduate degree programs, as well as waived application fees and covering the cost of course materials.

“Our new relationship with Papa John’s is an example of how we can help organizations meet the increasing demand for educated and trained workers, while creating a personalized, high-quality education for students that fits their busy schedules," Dr. Betty Vandenbosch, chancellor of Purdue University Global, said.
