INDIANAPOLIS -- Two people were killed in a single-vehicle crash on Indy's south side early Saturday morning.
The crash happened around 6 a.m. in the westbound lanes of I-465 near U.S. 31.
Indiana State Police Sergeant John Perrine says one person ejected from the vehicle and another person inside the vehicle were killed in the crash.
The roadway was shut down for a short time for the investigation into the crash , causing major traffic back-ups in the area, but it has since reopened. Click here to monitor the latest traffic conditions.
No further information has yet been made available about the crash.
