ELWOOD, Ind. -- One person was killed Tuesday in a crash that involved at least three vehicles, the Madison County Sheriff said.
The crash happened around 11:40 a.m., on State Road 37 near 296th Street.
Madison Co. Sheriff Scott Mellinger said there were at least five victims in the crash. Two other victims were lifelined to Indianapolis hospitals and two were taken to nearby hospitals.
Police haven't identified the victim or released any other details about the crash.
