INDIANAPOLIS — A driver was killed Friday morning in a crash on the city's northeast side.
According to information from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the person lost control of their vehicle and hit a tree at around 8:45 a.m. on East 46th Street near North Ritter Avenue. There were no passengers in the car at the time.
A section of East 46th Street was closed following the crash.
