INDIANAPOLIS -- A 1-year-old girl was transported to Riley Hospital for Children Monday after being shot in the eye with a BB gun.
The shooting happened around 6:00 p.m. on the 3300 block of Tara Lane on the west side.
Azalea Higgins' aunt says the 1-year-old was shot when a 15-year-old attempted to shoot another child with a BB gun.
The 1-year-old was taken to Riley Hospital for a checkout and was found not to have any serious injuries.
