INDIANAPOLIS -- Hundreds of new, high-paying jobs are expected to be created by the expansion of 17 companies across Indiana.
In making the announcement on Thursday, Governor Mike Pence said, "Companies both large and small are finding success and creating jobs across Indiana because we are a state that works."
According to the governor's office, the average annual salary for the more than 600 jobs will be more than $82,000, which is 85 percent higher than the state's average wage.
In 2015, the Indiana Economic Development Corporation has secured commitments for 26,555 new jobs in the state and investments of more than $4.79 billion.
