MUNCIE, Ind. -- Two female students were injured at the Ball State University Late Nite Carnival when a problem developed with the Ferris Wheel equipment.
The two students' feet became stuck in the equipment Friday evening. They were both taken to the hospital, treated and released.
A state inspector was at the carnival Friday night to figure out why the equipment failed.
The carnival is an annual event set up in one of the campus parking lots.
