INDIANAPOLIS – Two Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services workers were injured in a crash early Wednesday morning on the city’s east side.
Indianapolis police said their ambulance was hit by a car as it was in route to take a patient to Community East Hospital near 16th Street and Ritter Avenue.
Both workers were taken to the hospital.
Police said the driver of the car was also taken to the hospital but is expected to be OK.
Officers said the crash investigation is ongoing.
