INDIANAPOLIS -- It's no surprise to locals, but an Indianapolis bar has been named one of the best beer bars in the Midwest.
The Koelschip, located at 2505 N. Delaware St., was the only Indianapolis bar named on Draft Magazine's list of Midwest bars for 2016.
The Koelschip brews its own beers at Central State Brewing, according to its website.
Draft Magazine said The Koelschip is a "minimalist bar with permanent handles for four Central State beers and Ritterguts gose, plus seven rotating options that span hoppy, malty, dark and funky brews from the likes of Jolly Pumpkin and 18th Street."
Also making Draft Magazine's list of Midwest beer bars was The Heorot in Muncie.
