INDIANAPOLIS -- Two men were shot inside a home on the city's northeast side Sunday morning in what appears to have been a drive-by shooting incident.
Police said five adults and a 3-year-old child were inside a home before 7 a.m. in the 3000 block of N. Campbell Avenue when someone fired multiple shots through a window.
One man was shot in the lower back, and another man was shot as well, but police did not provide any further information about the extent of their injuries.
Neighbors told police a vehicle was heard leaving the scene at a high rate of speed, but officers said they have not received much cooperation from residents in the area.
Both victims were brought to a nearby hospital for treatment. No word on their conditions.
No further details have been made available.
