INDIANAPOLIS -- The names of 2,000 people who will take part in the Indiana Bicentennial Torch Relay were announced Wednesday.
The unveiling of the names took place in front of hundreds of people at the Indiana Statehouse.

Many of the torchbearers chosen were on-hand themselves, snapping photos with the torch.
The relay will touch each of Indiana's 92 counties during a 3,200-mile journey starting September 9.
The relay culminates with a celebration at the Statehouse on October 15.
