INDIANAPOLIS -- Approximately 2,500 IPL customers were left without power Monday night following a circuit lockout on the north side of Indianapolis.
The lockout happened at IPL's Crestview substation sometime around 8:30 p.m. Most of the affected customers were in the Broad Ripple/Meridian Hills area.
IPL's outage map listed 2,521 customers without power after the lockout.

As of midnight, IPL was reporting nearly all customers affected by the outage had regained power.
