INDIANAPOLIS -- The 49th annual Penrod Arts Fair is taking place Saturday. This year’s event features nearly 350 artists, six different stages of entertainment, 70 art-related non-profit organizations and an interactive children’s area.
The Penrod Arts Fair is one of the largest single-day art fairs in the nation. The event is family-friendly. There is food, drinks, music and activities for kids. Tickets are $20 at the gate. Children 10 and under are free.

Around 20,000 people are expected to attend. All the proceeds go to various arts organizations in Central Indiana.
The event runs until 5 p.m. Saturday.
