INDIANAPOLIS -- A St. Louis man has died from injuries sustained during a fight at the Kilroy's downtown location early Saturday morning.
Investigators believe the fight began between the victim and an unknown man around 1:38 a.m.
Police have identified the victim as John Hilf, 59, of St. Louis, Missouri. He was transported to Eskenazi Hospital with a head injury.
The Marion County Coroner's Office determined the cause of death was blunt force trauma due to a fall sustained after being pushed during an altercation.
According to IMPD, the specific circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation.
Investigators will forward their finding to the Marion County Prosecutors Office for a final charging decision.
