LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- A wreck involving a semi and three other vehicles shut down part of I-65 Southbound near Lafayette for more than two hours on Sunday.
Indiana State Police say the wreck happened around 1:00 p.m. near mile marker 164, which is in Tippecanoe County just north of the Clinton County line. A semi carrying 20,000 pounds of steel, two motorcycles and a minivan were involved in the wreck. A dispatcher with State Police says as many as six people were injured, but that the injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
INDOT says the interstate was re-opened just after 4:00 p.m.
