MADISON COUNTY, Ind. – An elderly man was killed in a lawn mower accident Wednesday afternoon in Madison County.
The Madison County coroner said the 70-year-old man was riding his mower when it flipped over and fell into a ditch full of water. The accident caused the man to fall into the ditch as well.
It is not clear if the man died from injuries of being trapped by the mower or if he suffered some sort of medical condition, the coroner said.
An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday. The name of the man was not released.
